Eligibility Criteria

The students who have successfully passed the std XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board with English as the medium of instruction can apply for admission. Students appearing for their board exams in the current year are also eligible subject to successfully qualifying in the board examination.

Selection

The admissions are granted to the students based on their performance in the written entrance examination held at selected places. Limited seats are also available in NRI/Management quota which can be allotted to the deserving candidates without entrance examination on the basis of percentage in qualifying exam & personal interviews.

Entrance Examination

A. The 'Objective' type written examination is held to test the candidates in the following:
            a) Ability in reasoning and logical deductions.
            b) Numerical Ability.
            c) Proficiency in written and oral English.
            d) General Awareness.

Instructions for obtaining prospectus and submission of application:-

1. There are following options for obtaining prospectus and application from :-
   
   You may download application form our website www.ihmmeerut.com fill the details and enclose a Demand draft of Rs. 650/- in favour Institute of Hotel Management Payable at Meerut and send it to us.
   
                                                                              OR
   
   You may send a Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- in favour of Institute of Hotel Management payable at Meerut to get a copy of prospectus alongwith the application form.
   
   
   

2. Application may be accompanied with two self attested copies of :
   
   >  Mark Sheet / Passing certificate of qualifying examination (not applicable for those
       appearing    in the examination)
   >  High School certificate for proof of date of birth and
   >  2 passport size photograph
   >  DD of Rs. 650/- in the form is downloaded from website.

   Note :- This prospectus and application form is not applicable for B.Sc. (HHA) programme. You have to directly apply for Joint Entrance Examination of NCHMCT on the Prescribed Form. There is no management quota in this course.
