Director General's Message
IHM Meerut has achieved spectular success during the last couple of years and our coveted affiliation with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology has come as the undisputed recognition of that success. The Institute can rightly claim the affiliation with the apex body for hospitality education under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as a richly deserved reward. The Management, Faculty, staff and the students of IHM Meerut feel proud to have worked with spirited motivation and unflinching dedication to set up a worthy bench mark in the hospitality industry which shall take some effort for others to reach.
Among the recognitions awarded to IHM Meerut in the last academic year include the gradings of being first among the private institutions of North India and the second best in the same category in the whole of India. CSR - GHRDC Ratings of 2009 are the testimony of these positions. The most popular journal among reputed magazines - The Competition Success Review, is repeatedly acclaiming our success story.
Our new Campus near Daurala (Meerut) on NH-58 (Delhi - Mussourie Highway) is now fully developed and its scenic beauty attracts the attention of every passerby on the National Highway. The entire team of faculty and staff including the Class IV Workers are worthy of a Shabash ! for their untiring efforts to achieve the best.
The Institute has achieved singular success to be branded as one possessing a very well qualified, widely experienced and highly dedicated faculty who take pains to impart enlightened and quality education to our students. Our Alumni are serving the most prestigious hotel chains and other hospitality organisations of national and international repute. The Institute is indeed proud of them. We shall continue our efforts to educate, groom and develop many more of our students who shall be our brand ambassadors in the future. A special focus is made by the Institute to develop the communication skills, body language and self - projection presentations of the students. A happy mix of academic and extra - curricular activities enable our students to achieve that unbeatable personality edge over others which makes them shine. Their absorption by the best hotel chains, air and cruise lines, railways and other hospitality centres is our cherished goal and endeavour. We at IHM Meerut therefore, look forward to the students to come and take everything that we are so eager to bestow upon you.
